PROFILE

Lourda Collins is a talented songstress with a sexy sultry vibe to her vocals and performance.

Born in London, but from a traditional Irish family, Lourda was surrounded by music from an early age. Taking up her mother's interest in singing and a strong musical talent of her own led Lourda to study jazz vocals, violin and piano at Trinity College of Music. Co-director of Music Agency and Promotions Company, The Day Job, she is involved in the music industry on every level.

Taking centre stage she produces a set of modern jazz and well-known classics, her influences stretch from Bessie Smith, Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington and more recently Eva Cassidy and Norah Jones.

At just 22 years old, Lourda is in demand with agencies and promoters around London, performing at such diverse venues as Covent Garden Summer Jazz Outdoor Festival to the beautiful Union Chapel in Islington, along with corporate events such as Headmasters Annual Awards and private functions and launches.
